Eligibility Criteria:

CGPA Requirements:

1. Undergraduate Programs (Bachelor’s Degree):

  • Minimum CGPA: Typically, a CGPA of 2.5 to 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.
  • Secondary School Marks: Applicants should have completed high school with a strong academic record, usually with at least 60-70% in relevant subjects.
2. Master’s Programs:
  • Minimum CGPA: A CGPA of 3.0 to 3.5 on a 4.0 scale is commonly required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Marks: Applicants need a relevant bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60-70% or equivalent marks.
3. Doctoral (PhD) Programs:
  • Minimum CGPA: For PhD applicants, a CGPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale is often required.
  • Master’s Degree Marks: A master’s degree with a strong academic background, usually above 70% or equivalent, is required.

Documents Required

When applying for the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship, you must have the following documents:

  • Completed application form
    • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
    • Academic transcripts and certificates
    • Proof of language proficiency (IELTS Not Mandatory)
    • Motivation letter
    • Two recommendation letters
    • Medical certificate (Not Required At Apply Time)
    • Passport copy (Not Required At Apply Time)
    • National Identity Card

    The scholarship covers a wide range of academic disciplines, particularly focusing on fields like Engineering, Medicine, Business, Agriculture, and Social Sciences.     Selection Process:

    1. Applicants must submit their applications online through both the Hungarian Tempus Public Foundation websitehttps://stipendiumhungaricum.hu/apply/ and the HEC websitehttp://scholarship.hec.gov.pk/. Failure to apply on both platforms will result in the disqualification of your application.

  • Hard Copies: Initially, you do not need to submit hard copies. However, later in the process, you will need to submit attested copies of your documents, including your online application forms, medical certificate, and police clearance certificate.
  • Note: Files uploaded to the system should not exceed 4 MB.

  • Application will be reviewed after application submission deadline. Only selected candidates will         be called for interview. And then final selection will be made on application combined with                      interview.

    • Tailor Your CV (Europass Format is preferable)
    • For Pakistani students USAT for Bachelors and HAT for Masters and Doctoral is mandatory. Higher marks in USAT(more than 70 out of 100) and HAT(more than 70 out of 100) will increase your chances of selection.
